These terms apply to your use of QuizTorch, operated by [operator name: set in config.php]. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Using the site

QuizTorch is a free general knowledge quiz game for entertainment and learning. You don’t need an account or any payment to play. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 18 you should have a parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Coins have no value

Coins are a points system that exists only inside the game. They:

• have no cash or monetary value;
• can’t be withdrawn, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes;
• can’t be purchased;
• are stored only for your browser, so they can be lost if cookies are cleared or after about 30 days without a visit.

QuizTorch does not run contests with real prizes, and nothing on the site is gambling or betting. We may change how coins work, or reset balances, at any time.

Advertising

The site is funded by ads, which are provided by Google and its partners. Some optional ads give you in-game coins for watching them. Ads aren’t always available, and we can’t guarantee one will be offered. We aren’t responsible for the content of ads or the websites they link to.

Fair use

Please don’t:

• use bots, scripts or other automated tools to play or to view ads;
• click on ads dishonestly, or ask or encourage anyone else to do so;
• try to manipulate your coin balance or scores, or interfere with the site’s security or operation;
• copy or republish the site’s content without permission.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Our content

The questions, facts, design, logo and other content on this site belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You can share links to our pages and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Accuracy

We work to keep questions and facts accurate, but mistakes can happen and facts can change. The content is provided for general information and entertainment only. See our Disclaimer. If you spot an error, please tell us.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or for any lost coins or game progress. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can’t legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law
